This was a great trip. We left out at 0700, after we got to San Marino (not the Republic of San Marino) look for the centro of town but no luck. The place didn't look right so we look at the map and notice that we were in the wrong town. Below are the pictures of a villa in the town of San Marino. After we got back on the road and heading in the right direction, we arrived at the right town (Republic of San Marino) about 1300. We stayed there and look around the town until about 1900. Then we headed back, getting home around 2330.

To get to the city without paying high parking fees, and since we had the bus. We park down the hill from the town to ride the lift up. The price of the lift was about $5 a person. The price here was a whole lot better then the lift in Malcesine (going to Monte Baldo), that one ran about $40 for two.
